Sundre Forest Products, a division of West Fraser Mills Ltd., is a Canadian-based forest products company. We currently have a challenging opportunity for highly motivated individuals at our Sundre operation for the positions of:
PLANERMAN/MILLWRIGHT
You will be a key player in the company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for verification and documentation of repairs made, monitoring product quality and providing feedback.
The following qualifications and experience will be required:
- Millwright or planerman ticket
- Planer experience an asset
- Problem solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work closely with other trades and employees
- Computer experience an asset
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent problem solving skills, as well as mechanical/electrical aptitude. Weekend and shift work required.
