JOURNEYPERSON PIPEFITTER

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Pipefitter will be a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting and predictive, preventative maintenance strategies. As a member of this high performing team you will be responsible for working safely with all machinery within the pulp mill.

The successful candidate is responsible for maintenance, installation and repair of piping systems.  The candidate is required to be motivated individual while showcasing team cooperation. The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants must possess an Alberta or Interprovincial Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification, along with a valid Class 4 or better driver’s license.  It would be ideal for the individual to possess a valid First-Aid certificate and solid computer skills.
