Description

Edson OSB mill has summer employment opportunities post-secondary students in the following areas:

Operations: Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the general duties will include performing cleanup and providing support throughout the mill as well as assisting in the finishing and packaging area.

This is a 12 hour rotating shift position.

Maintenance: Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, the general duties will include maintenance of the outside and inside of the mill along with other assigned tasks.

This is a 10 hour shift (Monday to Thursday).Qualifications

-Candidate(s) must be enrolled in post-secondary education for the term September 2015 through April 2016 with the intent to return to school in fall 2016 and be available for entire contract. (Evidence if enrollment in a post-secondary program must be provided).

-Must be able to start on the company specified date.-Must have a valid driver’s license.-Experience in an industrial setting will be an asset. 

Term

May 2016 – August 2016 – May be extended based on mutual need and availabilities.
