CERTIFIED MILLWRIGHT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Routine duties relating to the demand and preventative work order system
  • Equipment rebuilding
  • Metal fabrication
  • Hydraulic system troubleshooting
  • Involvement in shutdown planning & Contractor Supervision
  • Some shift work and overtime will be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hold an Interprovincial Journeyman Millwright certificate
  • Welding Certification or experience would be an asset
  • Vibration  Analysis Certificate or experience would be an asset
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Experience with wood processing & BCTMP pulp mill equipment would be an asset
  • Grade XII or GED
  • 3rd & 4th year Apprentices will be considered
