OPERATIONS MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR (OMC) BLEACH PLANT / R8
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all key performance areas for the department including safety, environment, quality, production and costs
- Maximizing mill production to meet customer demands while maintaining high standards for equipment reliability
- Managing, coordinating, prioritizing and scheduling the ongoing maintenance of all equipment in the Bleach Plant / R8 area to ensure optimum efficiency
- Working directly with other departments to ensure the mill is optimized
The successful candidate must possess:
- A Chemical Engineering Degree from a recognized institution; Mechanical Engineering degree may also be considered
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a supervisor role is required
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Kraft Pulp Mill (preferred), other industrial experience may be considered
- Be a self-directed, achievement-oriented, and quick-thinking individual possessing a desire to progress, learn and succeed
- Demonstrate direction by leading a multidisciplinary team in the management of the area
- Be highly organized with superior analytical and communication skills
