FULL TIME PAYROLL & BENEFITS COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accurate and timely payroll
  • Maintain payroll & benefits information, documents & forms
  • Calculate & prepare payroll remittance & reconciliations
  • Respond to payroll & benefit related inquiries
  • Manage WCB and short & long term disability claims
  • Prepare various reports upon request for supervisors and management
  • Prepare ROE’s & information for T4’s
  • Maintain confidential personnel files
  • Provide administrative support for the hiring process as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years previous payroll experience is preferred
  • Accurate data entry skills and superior attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, requests and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and the ability to adapt to new computer software systems
  • Post-secondary education in payroll administration and general accounting knowledge is an asset
  • Effective organization and communication skills
  • Experience &/or training in Human Resource would be an asset
