Altazimuth Environmental is an established forestry consulting company based out of Fox Creek, in West-Central Alberta. We are currently seeking experienced forestry personnel for the remainder of the season.
The position is for a Silviculture Surveyor.
The work will primarily:
• Be outdoor field work with some office/paperwork
• Take place in remote locations in adverse conditions
The work takes place around Whitecourt, Fox Creek, and Edson, Alberta
Requirements:
• Hard working with minimal supervision
• Ability to work alone or in small groups
• Experience with 4×4 Pickups and Off Highway Vehicles
• Good communication skills
• Forestry Degree or Diploma and eligible for registration with CAPF or CAPFT or equivalent
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• Valid First aid and H2S awareness is required
The work is ongoing and will last until November, with the possibility of winter work lasting until the end of January.

Pay is a based on quality and experience, and is typically a production rate. Employees who consistently meet production targets and deliver excellent quality have the potential to earn over $280/day
Shifts are flexible but typically follow a 10 on 4 off rotation.
