Our Hinton Pulp division is seeking an individual with strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills to fill the following position:

RECORDS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to the Quality and Customer Service Superintendent, this position will improve the mill’s control and administration of systems such as Treeline, Action Tracker, MOC, SDS, and POMS. The position will work closely with mill employees to provide service and support for these systems. Chosen candidates will possess the West Fraser traits of Integrity, Respectfulness, Humility, Hard-Work, Frugality, and Teamwork.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Document control, including document writing, managing document workflow and document libraries, updating mill level policies, reviewing the approval library, monitoring documents that have been checked out for editing, reviewing major version changes when sent for approval, coordinating the document numbering system, and managing the disposition process
  • Managing our divisional Treeline page, including maintaining pages, training users, updating forms, troubleshooting issues, and working with users to promote system use
  • Organizing and participating in internal and external POMS audits
  • Monitoring and training employees on the Action Tracker App
  • Assisting in reviewing our SDS system and in developing a system for multi-level MOC
  • Additional duties as required

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Relevant post-secondary education would be considered a strong asset
  • Strong computer skills. Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ISO Management systems
  • Excellent organization, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with people of varied backgrounds
  • The desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed
  • A detailed and proactive approach to work, with a high level of motivation
