The Fire Protection & equipment inspection technician will be a key player in our continuous maintenance improvement program through daily use of troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies.

You’ll Do:

  • Maintain Fire suppression systems and equipment.
  • Keep documentation of inspections that relate to WF Property Conservation manual developed by AON and be key member during AON Audits.
  • Ability to work closely with all other trades and employees.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Self-Motivated
  • Good performance record – safety, production, quality, attendance.
  • Good Mechanical Background
  • Candidate must provide their own tools.
  • Team Player

  • Mechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with other trades and employees
  • Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule to workdays, nights and/or weekend shifts

The shift will be determined, with a time split between Bluer Ridge Lumber and Ranger Board.

Compensation Package:

  • The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
