Our Hinton Division is seeking an experienced, professional, dedicated individual to fill the following position:

INDUSTRIAL NURSE

This is a permanent, part-time position. Scheduled hours are 10 hours per day, Tuesday to Thursday. Extra days/time are required during planned shut downs and on as as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessment and delivery of quality first aid treatment
  • Administration of the health and wellness program
  • Working within the emergency response plan and helping organize the Employee Family Assistance Plan
  • Case management of Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) and short-term disability claims to coordinate rehabilitation and reintegration to workforce

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Current registration with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Valid First-Aid certificate
  • Basic Trauma Life Support or Advanced Provider certification
  • An OHN certification is preferred, but not required
  • Good organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications and software systems
