Our Hinton Division is seeking an experienced, professional, dedicated individual to fill the following position:
INDUSTRIAL NURSE
This is a permanent, part-time position. Scheduled hours are 10 hours per day, Tuesday to Thursday. Extra days/time are required during planned shut downs and on as as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessment and delivery of quality first aid treatment
- Administration of the health and wellness program
- Working within the emergency response plan and helping organize the Employee Family Assistance Plan
- Case management of Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) and short-term disability claims to coordinate rehabilitation and reintegration to workforce
The successful candidate must possess:
- Current registration with the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Valid First-Aid certificate
- Basic Trauma Life Support or Advanced Provider certification
- An OHN certification is preferred, but not required
- Good organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computer applications and software systems
