Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. Whitecourt pulp mill is currently seeking a Stores Person to join our materials management team. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this individual will be based out of the Whitecourt pulp operation, but may also be assigned work with the company’s Whitecourt or Fox Creek sawmill operations, based on project and operational requirements. The Stores Person will be responsible for a number of warehouse duties, including materials issues & returns, shipping & receiving activities, stocking shelves, housekeeping and assigned activities relating to inventory management. The successful candidate will also play a role in promoting excellent business relationships with both internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and dynamic, capable of working with little supervision within a team environment. He or she will have a minimum Grade 12 education, a valid driver’s licence as well as good verbal and written communications abilities and computer skills.  A Warehouse/Partsman ticket, forklift and SAP experience would be considered assets.
