ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR (HEAD ELECTRICIAN)
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Electrical Supervisor will be instrumental in the continuing development and modernization of our Blue Ridge Lumber operation. As a member of this high performing team you will be responsible for managing an electrical team as well as all electrical equipment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Ensuring consistent operations of all electrical equipment
- Verification and documentation of repairs
Our ideal Electrician Supervisor candidate possesses:
- Several years of experience as an electrician
- Experience managing people
- A valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge and aptitude
- Experience in an industrial environment with VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, HMIs
- Experience with Delta RMC motion control
- Experience with and strong Control Logix programming and trouble shooting skills
- Strong organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
