Planner job description:

  • Secure operating approvals for Annual Operating Plans, General Development Plans, and Forest Harvest Plans
  • Have the opportunity to participate in Forest Management Plan development
  • Perform and supervise road and block layout
  • Comply with Spatial Data Directives including cutover photography acquisition
  • Participate on SFI Certification team
  • Lead innovation related to remote sensing including LIDAR
  • Ensure company Information Management System meets Woodlands needs
  • Conduct First Nations and Metis Consultation
  • Represent ANC on the Regional Forest Advisory Committee

Operations Supervisor job description:

  • Coordinate and supervise log and haul of ~300,000m3
  • Ensure contractors are safe, efficient and in compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Work with contractors and mills to maintain log quality program
  • Supervise road maintenance activities
  • Participate on SFI Certification team
  • Prepare budgets and manage costs within your sphere of responsibilities
  • Track and update of activities in Geographic Information System
