Position available for experienced log truck driver, with possible opportunity to purchase truck and trailer for qualifying candidate.
A well-established company is looking for a log truck driver with minimum 3 years log haul experience to haul short logs in the Edson/Hinton area
- 10+ months/year
- Contractors welcome (if proper paperwork provided)
- Newer model Western Star trucks
- Dayshift haul Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays
- Hourly rate based on Mill Cycle time
- Bi-weekly pay
- Camp job – modern camp, single rooms, meals provided (at no cost)
- Benefits provided after 3 month waiting period
- Must have First Aid and be able to pass drug and alcohol test
- Must provide reputable references
For a qualifying candidate, there would be an opportunity to gradually own the truck and trailer, along with a secure contract.
