Shift Electrician
As a member of the Electrical team, you must demonstrate safe working habits in the repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation of all electrical equipment to provide a safe work environment while reaching production goals. At Ranger Board MDF safety is a core value and business priority.
Candidates must have an Alberta or Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrical Certificate. Experience with plant maintenance, familiarity with PLC’s, Mitsubishi Variable Frequency Drives, HMI systems, and computer literacy would be considered an asset. The successful candidate must be willing to work on a rotational shift schedule and be a team player. Relocation to Whitecourt or Mayerthorpe area would be preferred.
In this role you would report to the MDF Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, ideal candidates will have an Alberta or Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrical Certificate and the ability to program PLC’s.
An understanding of computer networking, competency in electrical trouble-shooting, trouble-shooting and repair VFD drives (Mitsubishi), and experience with temposonics and interfaces would be considered an asset. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with superior quality and performance standards.
