ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Confidentiality, strong communication skills and commitment to their own and other’s health and safety are required for this position.
Qualifications:
- Previous administration experience is preferred
- Preference will be given to those willing to cross train in other functions
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type at 40 words per minute (WPM) or more
- Accurate data entry skills and superior attention to detail
- A motivated individual committed to teamwork and attention to detail is a must
- Use or exposure to accounting programs
- Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, requests and meet strict deadlines
- Effective organization and communication skills
- Can adjust well to a fast-paced and changing environment
- Grade 12 or GED equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support Accounts Payable Clerk
- Data entry
- Administrative support and coverage for various departments
- Support for various projects
- Perform front desk reception duties and services
- Answer telephones and direct calls
- File records as relates to the mill’s safety program and maintenance work orders
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
- Other duties as assigned
