Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and supportive team player for the role of Logistics Coordinator, Team Lead.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday at our Edmonton office. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entry of Budget and Forecast information in TM1 and other spreadsheets
- Work in the D365 system to enter tariffs, and process and review shipment information
- Coordination of vessel and shipments to and from terminals, trace railcar shipments
- Process and approve invoices
- Prepare and coordinate intermodal and truck shipments from the mill
- Work with the local CN train crews and mill warehouse Team Members to support the activities with CN Rail
- Ensure overall inventory is coordinated on a day to day basis to match customer requirements and mill production
- Work with logistics team to ensure shipments are as per customer requests
- Support and cross-train with Sales and Logistics Coordinators to process all levels of shipments
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a logistics coordinator or similar role is considered an asset
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or related field is considered an asset
- Previous supervision experience is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Efficient and proficient with Excel, Word, Dynamics 365
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
