Millar Western’s Whitecourt Wood Products Division is seeking a Journeyman Millwright to work as part of a team providing operational repairs and maintenance services to its sawmill operation.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a lumber mill environment as well as above-average skills in trouble-shooting, mechanical and welding repairs, and organizational skills. Experience with computerized maintenance systems, predictive and preventive maintenance, hydraulic troubleshooting as well as Servo and proportional systems and equipment rebuild experience will be considered assets.
This position will follow a 5-4 schedule and candidates are required to have their own basic tools. This position offers competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
