Millar Western’s Fox Creek Wood Products Division is seeking a Planer Mill Shift Supervisor. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of planer shift operations, including safety, production, quality and cost.  He/she will be accountable for optimizing operational performance by establishing productive working relationships with other departments and helping to manage skill development within the planer team.

The ideal candidate

Qualified applicants will have previous planer-mill experience, complemented by demonstrated leadership abilities, an unwavering commitment to safety and experience with SAP and/or other computerized maintenance systems. They will possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal, communications and computer skills.
