The Fire Protection & equipment inspection technician will be a key player in our continuous maintenance improvement program through daily use of troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies.
You’ll Do:
- Maintain Fire suppression systems and equipment.
- Keep documentation of inspections that relate to WF Property Conservation manual developed by AON and be key member during AON Audits.
- Ability to work closely with all other trades and employees.
- Ability to take direction.
- Self-Motivated
- Good performance record – safety, production, quality, attendance.
- Good Mechanical Background
- Candidate must provide their own tools.
- Team Player
You have:
- Mechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work closely with other trades and employees
- Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule to workdays, nights and/or weekend shifts

The shift will be determined, with a time split between Bluer Ridge Lumber and Ranger Board.

Compensation Package:
- The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
