To be awarded annually to Alberta residents with superior academic achievement entering the second, third, or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences majoring in Agriculture, Agricultural/Food Business Management, Forestry or Forest Business Management. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing and financial need. Preference will be given to applicants from an Alberta farming or ranching family where the primary income of the family is derived from the farm/ranch. Please note that this is only a preference and students from urban centres are also encouraged to apply.
